The hottest trend of Spring/Summer '10 is underwear as outerwear and this demi sheer blouse would benefit from a cheeky glimpse of a sexy black bra. The Paul and Joe ivory silk blouse also adheres to this season’s monochrome look, with a contrasting black trim and neck tie. Delicate and feminine, the floatly silk fabric creates a garment that Coco Chanel herself would be proud of! Team with a tux jacket and skinny jeans for a chic and sophisticated, feminine look.

Continuing with the Parisian Chanel look, the nautical stripe returns for its annual strut down the catwalk . ASOS have created a new portfolio of catwalk collections, giving us designer wannabes something to drool over! Okay, let's bring ourselves down to earth… we cant afford either of the previous items, but a trend we CAN master on the student budget is ruffles and feathers! Spring is the season to be inspired by nature and with this silk skirt from RARE you can emulate the feathered look without facing the problem of malting.  

Careful not to go too crazy with the feathers, you’re not being cast in a musical at the Folies Bergère! 

TBA @ Urban Outfitters stands for "to be adored" , after having a quick browse through their debut work, I have fallen in love with their Spring collection. This Peter Pan collared dress complete with beaded detailing is quirky, yet uniquely feminine and in this season's hottest colour, a pretty peach, it embodies the youthful undertones of this years catwalk collections.

Everyone wants to unwrap the perfect party dress for Christmas; this party season is a fashion flashback to the 1980’s, perfect for those who crave a bit of glitz and aren’t afraid to stand out of the crowd. With the advent of November, winter is getting closer and closer. Out come the cute winter accessories, boots and flawless party dresses! They are all hitting the high street stores so go ahead and treat yourself.

Everyone loves a bit of glam and with sequins set to be big news again this year, this fabulous sequined dress from RARE with sweetheart neckline, is the perfect party dress , at £49 it’s a little pricey, but it is a staple item you can wear throughout winter.

With the cold weather setting in we’re putting away the pumps from the summer and investing in a good pair of boots. Over the knee styles are all over the designer catwalks this autumn, yet luckily for us Office have range of boots to rival that of Chloe and Prada.These puss-in-boot lookalikes are right on trend, ok so they are £125 which is beyond the budget of the average student budget, but Office does do 10% student discount which may be incentive enough.

From the bejewelled necklaces to bangles-galore, this season has big statement jewellery written all over it. This ornate layered flower necklace is perfect to glam up that LBD you’ve worn over and over again.

We all want something to snuggle up to in these long winter months, and if the boyfriend just isn’t making the grade, Topshop have a great range of chunky knit scarves. This scarlet scarf is in this seasons hottest colour, but if you prefer something more subtle around your neck it also comes in blue, pink, cream, black and yellow.
